Dear Mrs. Mu Sochua;
I am so impressed by all your activities in order to fight against human right (and women rights) abuses in Cambodia. I am a law student and a member of the Harpswell Foundation. I would like to inform you that you are my role model and you have a big influence for me to do something for a better Cambodia. I saw the advertisement above finding volunteers. I have a law background and I am now an exchange student in Bard College, NY. If there is anything I can help, please feel free to tell me. I am more than happy to help.
Regards,
Savada Prom

I could not see the full comment. Can you resend.
Dear Madam.
I am very happy to read your page about Volunteer. I don’t think I can meet all the requirements above except photography. For now, I am a student at a state university, and my major is not related to the requirements above. However, I own a DSLR Camera and I think I can be an aid of photography to you. You can contact me directly via my blog.
Best Regards,
Ta Mab
we can always talk. I am flexible Many young Cambodians volunteer with me.
Dear Mrs. Mu Sochua,
I do not even know where to start. Because I have many things to say but I am going to keep it short. The bottom line is that I have an enormous respect for what you and your party have done and will do for the Cambodian people. You, amongst others, have inspired me to make my contribution as well. As a result, I would like to join your organization as a volunteer/intern. However, I do not think I meet the above requirements because I am attending a business school. Moreover, I am only mastering some basic skills. So I don’t know whether I am eligible to volunteer.
I’m looking forward hearing from you soon..
Kind regards,
Syvuthy Nuth
Hi, I’ll be coming to live in Cambodia (Phnom Penh) in March 2012 having recently left my position as Policy and Strategy Officer for Rape Crisis (England and Wales) which I’d been doing for 4 years. Previous to that, I was the Coordinator of a local Rape Crisis Centre but was involved nationally with campaigning and lobbying on the issues of (specifically) sexual violence.
I have a wide exerience of working in the violence against women and girls (VAWG) field including setting up and developing new Charities – I’ve recently sat on the steering group for a new Rape Crisis Centre in Suffolk (UK) and have written their 3 year Delivery and Business Plan including their Funding Strategy.
I have represented Rape Crisis in Government Stakeholder groups on VAWG and have been successful in lobbying Government to raise the profile of sexual violence on their agenda and also to provide core funding for Rape Crisis Centres across the UK. I often represented Rape Crisis in the media (television, radio, press etc) and have written articles for a range of publications (i.e. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/jun/10/rape-victims-police)
I’m very proud of what I’ve been able to assist Rape Crisis to achieve in the time that I was with them and I’m keen to bring what I’ve learnt to support women’s equality and human rights in Cambodia.
Please let me know if you think I can be of any assistance in your Campaign.
Best Wishes
Angie Conroy
