With some members of the Beung Kak Lake, and Bopha’s son, I paid her a visit in prison, yesterday.
It was an embrace that was overdue. In the middle of other visitors and inmates we cried and felt that we had so much to say to each other.
Bopha remains strong and still fearless. She has another 13 months to serve but her release will be one of the items on the political negotiation agenda of the opposition before we take our seats in parliament.
Bopha vows to pick up the fight when she left, once released.
