Geneva Summit on Human Rights and Democracy

I have been invited by Liberal International to speak at the Geneva Summit on Human Rights and Democracy on 25 February.

Liberal International is one of the many partners supporting the event, which is being hosted by UN Watch and which is going to feature testimonies of victims of human rights abuses.

Among the prominent speakers who have confirmed participation are as follows:

-Mr. Chen Guangcheng: self-taught human rights lawyer and Chinese human rights activist (sought refuge from the Chinese authorities in the USA)
-Tenzin Dhardon Sharling: Tibetan Women’s Rights activist and the youngest Member of the exiled Tibetan Parliament based in India.
-Dalia Ziada, Egyptian award-winning liberal human rights activist, socio-political analyst and public speaker. After Egypt’s 2011 revolution, Dalia co-founded a political party and ran for parliament. Today, Dalia is Executive Director of the Cairo-based Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies
