  1. Sometimes a women’s perspective on social issues can be more astute and the legislation they propose can be more valuable to all citizens, but especially for more vulnerable groups. Starting from the united voice of a women’s caucus, proposed ideas can then garner support from men colleagues across all parties… Best of luck for constructive meetings.

    Congratulations on assembling the first meeting of women members of Cambodia’s Parliament. This convocation is a valuable demonstration to Khmer citizens that their government leadership does in fact reflect (albeit limited degree) the female portion of the population.
