Cambodian Migrant Workers Left Unprepared

Cambodian Migrant workers inside and outside the country and their families are far from being protected by national laws or laws in the receiving countries or ILO Conventions.

I spoke on the issue on VOA.

My phone has not stopped ringing and my team is busy providing counseling to the families and the victims.

The communications are made by phone, skype or home visits.

Yesterday, a woman travelled from Prey VENG to find justice for her husband who died in Thailand last month. The employment agency brought the body to the border town of Poipet. The family paid $850 to bring the body home in Prey Veng.

Cambodian domestic workers returned home from Malaysia.

A domestic worker jailed in Malaysia and rescued by my team.
